ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A big Republican donor has signed an affidavit claiming GOP Party Chairman John Hancock made negative religious remarks about state auditor Tom Schweich.
The affidavit is by Joplin businessman David Humphreys who has donated millions to republicans and republican causes, including Schweich.
Humphreys , in the affidavit, says Hancock came to his office on November 24th to raise funds to set up a voter database for use by the Republican Party.
Humphreys goes on to say that during their conversation Hancock said Schweich is Jewish and he felt the comment was said with a negative tone.
